Keynote Speakers:

Call for Papers. We are soliciting papers for the VI Workshop on Migration, Health, and Well-Being. The workshop’ focus is broad, covering empirical economic research on these topics. The workshop will last two days, with a small number of hour-long research presentations.

The workshop aims to foster new connections among scholars with common interests in these areas. Miriam Orcutt (WHO, UCL) and Paolo Pinotti (Bocconi University) will be the keynote speakers. The workshop will be hosted on the Rome Campus of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Largo F. Vito 1, 00168 Rome).

There are no fees and participants will be offered food and beverages during the entire workshop; however, participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation expenses. The workshop is sponsored by the Department of Economics and Finance, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and by the ESEM project (Economic and Social Effects of Migrations).

The objective of the research grant ESEM is to foster rigorous quantitative research on migration with a focus on the multi-dimensionality of the phenomenon and its inter-relationship with education and health.

The grant is part of the D3.2 funding programme via which Università Cattolica aims to promote research in areas of strategic relevance.
