Every year the The Society for Academic Primary Care (SAPC) launches a competition to find the star Principal Investigator or Principal Medical Educator who provides exceptional support, leadership and encouragement for their team through the highs and lows of research/education, careers and life. The winner is awarded the SAPC Principal Investigator of the Year Prize.

This year, Dr. Charlotte Albury won this prize, having been nominated by DPhil student, Amelia Talbot for her PI work leading research in health communication and behaviour change within the health behaviours team. Charlotte is a qualitative methodologist, specialising in using conversation analysis to understand relationships between clinical communication and changes to health behaviours.

Find out more about this prize and how you can nominate someone. Nominations for 2023 will close 31st March 2023.
