BSc MSc
Data Linkage Permissions Manager
I am currently working within the departmental Cancer Theme supporting data linkages and on a variety of projects including using ORCHID data.
I have a BSc in Medical Genetics and an MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care.
I have worked in industry and in academia - in different departments at Oxford, the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL, St. George's, University of London, and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
In the past I have undertaken and managed research on malaria, Ebola, multi-drug
resistant tuberculosis, COVID-19, and inflammatory respiratory diseases through systematic reviews, clinical trials and laboratory research. Recently I have supported epidemiological research in UK primary care.
My research interests are clinical trial methodology, evidence-based health care, infectious tropical diseases, and diversity in research. In particular I'm interested in inclusion in research of people during pregnancy.
