Research—Adaptive Strategy Competencies in LMIC Healthcare Leadership

My research interest focuses on the primary development needs and challenges in healthcare leadership within Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The research centres on enhancing healthcare leadership competencies in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), through applying the Adaptive Strategy Theorem™. This approach is not just about measuring the severity of dilemmas (D) but, more importantly, evaluating healthcare leaders' knowledge and experience in handling these challenges. The theorem intricately assesses how leaders respond to urgent (U) and persistent (P) risks, utilise opportunities (O), and pursue determined objectives (G), all within the framework of their leadership competencies. By quantitatively and qualitatively analysing these aspects, the purpose is to develop and refine leadership skills that are adaptable and effective in addressing the strategic needs and constraints of LMIC healthcare systems.
