The Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences has received a Gold Award to recognise the efforts made in creating and maintaining an environmentally sustainable working environment.

Thanks to the hard work of the department's Green Impact team, led by Karen Morecroft and congratulations to everyone involved!

The award was presented at the University of Oxford's sixth Sustainability Showcase on 20 June 2019, with staff and students from across the University coming together to recognise their contributions towards making the University’s operations more sustainable.

The event also saw the unveiling of the University's ambitious new carbon target - to at least halve carbon emissions by 2030 by continuing to implement carbon-reduction projects and building energy-efficient buildings.
