I am a Wellcome Trust funded DPhil student and a GP at a practice in Oxford. Within the Nuffield Department for Primary Care Health Sciences, I am attached to the Centre for Evidence Based Medicine (CEBM). My interests range from the use of novel technologies in the primary care setting, such as creatinine and malaria point of care devices; to alternative therapies, such as the role of oil- pulling in promoting oro dental hygiene.

Prior to starting my DPhil, I was an NIHR funded academic clinical fellow (ACF). During my ACF years, I developed a keen interest in the diagnosis and management of bacterial infections in older adults. I intend to use varied research methodologies to explore this further during my DPhil.
