MOCK OSCE

The Mock OSCE is organised by GP tutors in their practices. It is held every January just prior to Finals examinations. It provides the opportunity for Year 4 students (Year 6 in the standard six year course) to practise seeing patients under exam conditions and receive feedback on their performance.

GE YEAR 4 SPECIAL STUDY MODULES

There are three distinct Special Study Modules in Primary Care offered in GE Year 4 (Year 6 in the standard six year course). They reflect the great diversity of work carried out by GPs in Oxford and beyond.

  • Primary Care and Homelessness
  • Primary Care in East Oxford
  • Primary Care with a Special Interest

These SSMs build on previous student experiences of Primary Care, so that students will further understand and enjoy the exciting challenges of caring for patients in the community.
