Student internships in primary care | Closes May 4 2018 | There are one or more full time positions for a period of 2 months each with a salary equivalent to a grade 4.1 pro rata (£11.37 per hour).

An excellent opportunity has arisen for one or more student internships (including undergraduate medical students, but also those undertaking relevant Masters or PhDs or established early career health professionals looking to move into research would potentially be suitable), to work with one of our research teams on a primary care project. 

These prestigious posts have been funded by the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences in order to give medical students and established early career health professionals experience of working in primary care research early in their careers. Projects are available with a range of research groups (see wesbite/job description for details and contacts)

Each intern will:

  • Receive appropriate training;
  • Develop a primary care research project (see the job description for details);
  • Prepare the work for potential presentation +/- publication in an academic journal.
