Professor Susan Jebb will discuss the importance of treating obesity to reduce the burden of diabetes and heart disease. She will explore the historical reticence of physicians to address weight-related issues and present new research that sheds light on effective interventions that can be offered in routine healthcare settings to transform the weight of the nation.

This event is free for Medical Sciences alumni and their guests (booking is still required). £10 for other alumni.
