Seeking volunteers for a focus group

Researchers from the University of Oxford are recruiting people to attend a focus group at the Calcot Hotel in Reading, Berkshire, on the 22nd November.

A focus group gets people together to ask them about their experiences and ideas. The aim of this focus group is to know more about what patients think about the safety of healthcare in general practices, and how the voices of people who experienced safety problems can be better heard.

You are eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • have previously experienced a safety problem with the care you received in your GP surgery
  • are over 18 years of age
  • speak and understand English
  • are willing to provide up to 3 hours of your time participating in the group discussions

All travel expenses will be reimbursed. You will be offered a £40 voucher to thank you for your participation.
