I have received notification from a member of staff that they intend to take maternity /paternity / shared parental / adoption leave. What action do I need to take?
The guidance on the difference types of family leave can be found on the University’s Family Leave pages Please ask the individual to contact the HR team and we will direct those sources of information and the notification requirements/forms needed.
You will also need to carry out a risk assessment for pregnant employees in the workplace as soon as you become aware of the pregnancy.
