On Monday 29 January between 12-1pm join the Green Impact Team as we take part in the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch to see how many birds visit the area in front of the Radcliffe Primary Care Building.

We are looking for volunteers to spend just ten minutes observing from the Library to count the number of birds they see, and hopefully identifying the birds too using the RSPB's spotting guide.

Since the Big Garden Birdwatch began almost 40 years ago, hundreds of thousands of people have taken part. It gives an astonishing amount of insight into how the UK's wildlife is faring, with valuable information on what's thriving, and what's under threat.

By taking part in this national initiative, we'd like to better understand how birds use the site around our building so we can better plan our own future "greening" activities.

If you have just ten minutes to spare on 29 January to take part (or some binoculars we can borrow!), then please contact Dan Richards-Doran.
