The medical statistics team are running a series of practice workshops for the coming academic year, based on topics taught on the (1st year undergraduate) medical statistics course.  All members of the department are welcome:

  • 19 January: Sampling and the Normal Distribution
  • 26 January: Confidence Intervals
  • 2 February: Comparing Two Groups
  • 9  February: Interpreting Confidence Intervals and p-values
  • 16 February: Correlation and Clinical Significance
