Who we work with
Steering Committee
The DECIDE Steering Committee advises on general strategy for the programme, provides expertise to help shape rapid evaluations and helps with sharing learning more widely in ways that enable positive impact on health and care services, and on population health and wellbeing. The day-to-day operation and management of DECIDE, and the design and conduct of rapid evaluations falls to the DECIDE Director and key members of the team.
Following NIHR guidance, the role of the Steering Committee is to provide overall supervision for DECIDE on behalf of the Project Sponsor and Project Funder, and to ensure that the evaluations are conducted to the rigorous standards set out in the Department of Health’s Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care and the Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice.
