STAGE 3 Survey (October 2017)

In order to develop an effective PPI intervention, we need to identify the biggest challenges to recruitment, retention and PPI in surgical trials.

We are now inviting PPI contributors (patient or lay advisers, partners, representatives etc.) to take part in an online survey about their experiences of some barriers to successful patient and public involvement (PPI) in UK adult surgical and surgery-related trials.

The survey takes up to 30 minutes to complete, and we are offering a £10 high street shopping voucher to survey participants to thank them for their time.

If you have been involved in designing, planning or overseeing one or more funded UK adult surgical or surgery-related trials within the last 5 years, we would be very grateful for your input.

Please see our information sheet for further information.

A similar survey aimed at surgical trial staff and PPI coordinators will be launched in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your support.
