SuMMiT-D is a digital system that uses text messages to support those with type 2 diabetes. Our aim is to develop messages that help people to take their medication as prescribed, as well as managing their health condition.
Thank you to all our GP practices and to all the patients that contacted us to register interest in the study. We reached our recruitment target for the main trial in just under 4 months, randomising 1039 participants in total.
