Our Scholars Programme provides one fully funded three-year DPhil scholarship each year for students wishing to study in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences.

The Primary Care Health Sciences Scholarship covers University and College fees and a stipend and is open to outstanding candidates with Home/RoI fee status. Students wishing to study on both the DPhil in Primary Health Care or the DPhil in Translational Health Sciences may apply.

The Primary Care Health Sciences Scholars Programme is advertised each October for admission the following October.

To be considered for the Primary Care Health Sciences Scholars Programme you must submit a DPhil application online using the University application form by the December deadline.

Following our selection process, candidates will be automatically entered into a competitive internal funding round, with funds awarded by the department and other sources, including the Medical Sciences Division and the Clarendon Fund. One highly-ranked student will be awarded the Primary Care Health Sciences Scholarship each year.

Please see our how to apply page for information on how to complete the application form and how to apply for a DPhil project in the department.
