Admissions criteria

Universities around the world are invited to nominate one candidate who has demonstrated the potential to become a future leader in primary care research. They will usually be 1-10 years post-doctoral.  

Selection process

A selection committee will choose the best applicants, eight to ten applicants are normally selected.  Selection criteria include: demonstration of leadership skills; initiative; publications; and research activities. Nominating universities need to demonstrate their support of the participants throughout the programme.

• Your CV.
• Recommendation from your head of department.
• Confirmation that your department will cover the fees and costs associated with the programme.
