Alice Rollinson

BA (Hons)

CEBM Administration Assistant and Undergraduate Co-ordinator

  • Editor and Producer, Trust the Evidence Podcast
  • Social Media Editor, BMJ EBM

Having previously studied French at Lancaster University and trained as a sound and lighting technician, I joined the department in September 2015. I am really interested in the research carried out by the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences and the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine to encourage a more rational and evidence-based form of primary care.

I work closely with Ruth Davis and other members of the CEBM to ensure that the Centre's aims to develop, teach and promote evidence-based health care through conferences, workshops and online EBM tools are met, so that all health professionals can maintain the highest standards of medicine and care.

My day to day activities include coordinating administration and activities associated with the Department of Continuing Education, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences and the Medical School, updating the CEBM website and other forms of social media, communications, and helping to organise events such as Evidence Live, Preventing Overdiagnosis, and other EBHC workshops.

I am also responsible for managing the diaries of CEBM Director Professor Carl Heneghan and Deputy Director Dr Kamal Mahtani, organising meetings with students and external visitors.

Outside of work, I also run an illustration business and sing in a couple of community choirs.
