Diet, Obesity, Cardio-metabolic risk
I am a nutrition researcher and currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Health Behaviours team. My research interest lies in the field of diet and obesity and its associated complications mainly the cardiovascular diseases.
I had my PhD in 2013 on Diet and Cardiovascular Risks from the University of Surrey. My thesis focussed on the effects of dietary carbohydrates on human plasma lipids and lipoproteins. My background is Dietetics and I had my Bachelor of Dietetics (Hons.) in 2007 from the National University of Malaysia.
