HEAT is a large randomised controlled trial designed to investigate whether a one week course of Helicobacter pylori eradication in patients using aspirin ≤325mg daily will reduce the incidence of gastric ulcer bleeding that results in hospitalisation.
Prior to my current role, I worked for 18 months as an assistant scientist for a pharmaceutical research company providing scientific evidence in the support of efficacy toward novel pharmaceutical compounds.
