Benjamin Feakins

DPhil Student

I am a full time NSPCR-funded DPhil student at St Edmund Hall and joined the Department of Primary Care Health Sciences in 2012.

My project focus is to evaluate the competing risks present in diabetes mellitus with advancing degrees of nephropathy. Under the guidance of Dr Richard Stevens, Dr Emily McFadden & Prof Andrew Farmer, I am exploring both the clinical and methodological aspects of this field.

Prior to joining the department, I completed a BSc (Hons) in Physiological Science at the University of Bristol and MSc (DIC) in Modern Epidemiology at Imperial College London.
