Clinical risk prediction modelling for the diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, and coeliac disease in children in primary care.
Biography
Christian completed his medical degree at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He then commenced his specialty training as a paediatrics resident with the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Calgary based at Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Christian is particularly interested in paediatric emergency medicine and acute care paediatrics.
He received the Rhodes Scholarship in 2021 and took a leave of absence from his clinical training to join the University of Oxford to pursue research training.
He is reading for a DPhil in Primary Health Care Sciences and is interested in epidemiology and clinical risk prediction research in paediatrics.
