Cristina Arraes

Grants Officer

With over six years of experience in research grants administration at the University, I’ve worked across several departments, consistently in a role I find both rewarding and engaging. For the past three years, I’ve been part of my current department, where I’ve supported a range of research groups — an experience that has broadened my knowledge of different funding requirements, research approaches, and administrative processes.

I now primarily support health economics research, managing the full grant lifecycle from preparing and submitting applications to overseeing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance.

I work closely with researchers to provide practical advice on funding applications, financial planning, and effective grant management. With a collaborative approach and strong attention to detail, I aim to deliver reliable support that allows research teams to focus on delivering impactful work.
