DPhil Candidate

Elizabeth is a DPhil student under the supervision of Professor Carl Heneghan and Professor Rafael Perera at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine (CEBM). She is funded by the University of Oxford Clarendon Scholarship in partnership with Kellogg College. 

Her research aims to explore and trends in tests and treatments for common childhood conditions in primary care. Her wider interests include improving the evidence base in paediatrics and addressing health inequities.

Elizabeth completed her MD at Bond University in Australia, where she graduated first-in-class and was awarded the Australian Medical Association Queensland Prize for Paediatrics. She later completed her Master of Medicine in Child and Adolescent Health at the University of Sydney. Alongside her clinical work as a junior doctor, she also worked as a researcher at the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare, Bond University.
