My research interests focus on using a mixed methods approach to develop a clinically relevant evidence base of novel technologies in a primary care setting. I am particularly interested in how the use of point of care tests and digital health applications in GP practices can influence clinical decision making to improve patient outcomes. My current projects include a qualitative study exploring healthcare professional and managerial professional perceptions of using as well as implementing point of care tests in a primary care setting.
I am a Teaching Associate of Green Templeton College where I teach graduate medical students consultation and clinical examination skills. I have previously held leadership posts as a Royal College of General Practitioners Associate in Training representative and a British Medical Association representative for doctors in training.
I work clinically in Oxfordshire.
