I completed my PhD at Loughborough University, which focussed on understanding the barriers to active participation in UK secondary school Physical Education lessons.
I am a behavioural scientist and my primary research interests lie in the treatment of obesity and the prevention of chronic conditions including cardiovascular disease and diabetes. I am currently involved in the development of behavioural interventions, specifically brief interventions delivered in primary care settings, to promote weight management.
