Lisa Hopcroft
BSc MRes PhD
Epidemiologist / Health Data Scientist
I am a Data Scientist working on OpenSAFELY. Following a BSc in AI and Psychology, my postgraduate studies (MRes, PhD) focussed on applied computing in biomedical research. My post-doctoral work sought to elucidate insight from high-dimensional and complex transcriptomic data in leukaemia. Before joining the OpenSAFELY team at The Data Lab, I was a Principal Information Analyst at Public Health Scotland, working on phase I-III clinical trials and on the COVID-19 in Pregnancy in Scotland (COPS) project.
