Clinical Research Nurse
I joined the Primary Care Health Science Department in January 2016 as a Clinical Research Nurse. During my time with the Department I have worked on different clinical trials; TASMINH4, HOME BP, RIVET, PRINCESS, MERMAIDS and ARCHIE. Prior to this position I worked for eight years for Public Health England in the field of epidemiology and public health research. My research with the PHE involved mainly tuberculosis and management outbreak investigations.
I completed my MSc in Epidemiology at Imperial College London in 2015. The topic of my dissertation was Obesity and Colorectal Cancer Risk, an extensive research using UK Biobank data. Before moving to England I worked as a Public Health Nurse in Peru and Brazil.
