Madison Luick
NIHR Pre-Doctoral Fellow
Madison joined the Health Economics team at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences as an NIHR pre-doctoral fellow in September 2022, supervised by Professor Stavros Petrou and Dr John Buckell.
Previously, Madison worked for two years as a research assistant in the Health Behaviours team at NDPCHS. She conducted research on the population health impacts of food reformulation and on how interventions to change food microenvironments could influence food purchasing behaviours. Madison holds a BSc in Biology of Global Health from Georgetown University and an MSc in Health and International Development from the London School of Economics.
During her NIHR fellowship, Madison plans to develop skills in health economics research, particularly choice modelling methods. Madison also has an interest in behaviours and interventions surrounding infectious diseases, and hopes to incorporate this interest in her fellowship.
