Biography
I am currently an Ann McPherson Predoctoral Research Fellow within the Medical Sociology & Health Experiences Research Group (MS & HERG), where I work on a wide range of applied health and social care research projects.
I hold an MSc in Health Psychology (with Distinction) from the University of Stirling, where I was a US-UK Fulbright Scholar. I received my BA in Anthropology: Human Biology (with Honors) from Temple University. Previously, I have supported research projects exploring digital interventions to augment physical activity; machine learning for the clinical diagnosis and management of lipid disorders; communication around organ donation; and informal caregiver burden.
My personal research interests centre on health behaviour change and the physical, mental, and cognitive health of older adults, with a particular focus on digital health interventions and the social and behavioural determinants of healthy ageing. I have additional research interests in personal health technologies, chronic disease and multimorbidity, and the development of health interventions for traditionally medically-underserved populations.
