My research focus is on vaccines and infectious diseases. I am currently investigating factors which influence infants’ immune responses to vaccines as part of a DPhil in primary health care. My research involves the meta-analysis of serology data from a large number of industry vaccine trials from around the world to investigate differences in the immune response to vaccination in infants due to the influence of maternal antibody, the age and spacing of vaccine administration, and differences between girls and boys. I am also investigating methods for calculating antibody thresholds of protection.

Previously I worked in clinical trials at the Centre for Statistics in Medicine, Oxford and the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre at the University of Sydney.
