Epidemiology, Health Behaviours,Obesity

I am an Epidemiologist and Health Behaviour Scientist with a particular interest in understanding how health behaviours and obesity impact CVD, diabetes, mental health, etc

I joined the Oxford Health Behaviours team in 2019 and graduated with a PhD from Peking University Health Science Centre (Beijing, China). I am a member of China Health Policy and Management Society and American Psychological Association.

I have much experience in analysing UK Biobank, Qresearch and CPRD datasets and multiple Chinese national cohorts (such as China Health and Nutrition Survey, Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey, China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Stud) across behavioural science, big data and health policy. In the meantime, I have conducted several trials in China to help patients improve their weight and health behaviours through close collaborations with Chinese universities, government officials, hospitals and community health centres.
