Trial Coordinator

Currently engaged with the TOUCAN and FOUND trials. Previously embedded within the PANORAMIC platform trial, a national urgent public health trial of Covid-19 treatments in the community.

Since graduating at the outbreak of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I have worked in numerous Covid related projects both in primary care, and research based environments. My story with the PHC's Clinical Trials unit started with the Principle and Panoramic trials, working as a trial administrator.

I am now part of two teams as a Trial Coordinator:

TOUCAN, determining the diagnostic performance in a primary care field study of novel point-of-care tests for diagnosing urinary tract infection against microbiology laboratory testing.

FOUND, a case finding of obstructive sleep apnoea in primary care using a novel device.

As a Trial Co-Ordinator, I am responsible to and work closely with the Trial Manager and the wider theme group to ensure the successful set up, running and completion of the trials in their portfolio on time and on budget.
