Clinical Trials Statistician
I joined the clinical trials unit in January 2016. I provide statistical support to clinical trial researchers. I had completed my M.Sc and PhD in Statistics from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India. I have got more than 5 years’ experience in data analysis in wide range of clinical areas including neurology, dentistry, critical care, orthopaedics, environment epidemiology and radiology.
I have experience in analysing the data using statistical techniques: linear and non-linear modelling, survival analysis and spatial data analysis. I had attended short courses/trainings in SAS, SPSS, R, Clinical trials and Meta-analysis, sample size calculation and practical use of multiple imputation to handle missing data. I was selected for a training program on Geomatics Technology using ArcGIS software funded by DST, Government of India. I also have experience in writing systematic review and performing meta analysis. I have published 26 research papers and 22 short communications in a peer reviewed journals.
