Pui San graduated with Master of Pharmacy from the University of Manchester and further pursued Ph.D in Health Services Research from Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore. In her Ph.D, she evaluated comparative effectiveness and precision medicine strategies for cancer treatments using Bayesian network meta-analysis.
Currently in the University of Oxford, Pui San continues to pursue evidence-based medicine research in the primary care setting with a focus on infectious diseases. Pui San is interested in developing clinical, molecular, behavioural and economic interventions for antimicrobial prescribing in the aim to combat and reduce global emerging antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
