Rebekah Burrow

BSc MSc

Senior Research Data Manager

I work with Julia Hippisley-Cox, helping manage the QResearch database.

I've worked previously as a Programme Manager, Data Manager and Researcher on systematic reviews, clinical trials and laboratory science. I have very much enjoyed my time in different departments at Oxford, the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL, St. George's, University of London, and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and have undertaken and managed research on malaria, Ebola, multi-drug resistant tuberculosis, COVID-19, and inflammatory respiratory diseases.

I have a BSc in Medical Genetics and an MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care.

I am particularly interested in improving diversity in research, and fairness in the way research is carried out and for whom. I'm very interested in evidence-based health care, evidence quality, infectious tropical diseases, and data management. Since having children I have developed an interest in maternal healthcare. I love fixing problems and making systems and processes more useful, more fair, more efficient, and more enjoyable.
