Healthcare experiences of trans and gender diverse youth
I joined the department in Feb 2019 as a postdoctoral researcher on trans and gender diverse youth's experiences of healthcare in the UK. I was previously at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge doing my PhD in the Department of Psychology. My research is focused on developing and evaluating QueerViBE an online intervention that aims to empower trans male and non-binary youth using applied discourse analysis and interactive video tutorials. I have a master’s degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy and have published work about counselling as a site for the dilemmatic negotiation of masculinities.
