About the international forum
The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare is a series of international conferences that inform and inspire healthcare leaders, practitioners and patients towards safer, better quality of care.
With almost 30 years of history, the International Forum supports and energises the movement for patient safety and healthcare improvement. It brings together knowledge, ideas and expertise to support quality improvement projects and drive transformation in healthcare practice worldwide.
Each year, over 5,000 participants from 80+ countries attend International Forums. They come together to tackle today and tomorrow’s critical health and healthcare challenges, to connect with others working in this space, to form partnerships and to explore new approaches to healthcare.
The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare is jointly organised by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and BMJ Group. Both organisations aim to improve healthcare and outcomes for patients and communities.
