Cristina Stewart
BSc(Hons) MSc RNutr
Health Behaviours Researcher
I am a researcher working within the Health Behaviours work package of a large 5-year Wellcome Trust funded project called LEAP (Livestock, Environment and People). I joined the department in Oct 2018 as a Research Assistant and was promoted to Researcher (post-doctoral equivalent) at the start of 2021.
My research has focussed on examining meat consumption trends in the UK, establishing effective ways to measure meat intake at an individual level, and developing and testing behavioural interventions to promote more sustainable food purchasing and consumption.
I am also a Registered Public Health Nutritionist (RNutr) registered with the Association for Nutrition. Prior to joining LEAP, I worked at Marks & Spencer HQ as an Associate Nutritionist.
My research interests include public health, behaviour change and sustainable diets.
