Jingyu Dai

I am a health economist working within the Oxford Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Imaging Theme and the Oxford Health BRC Brain Technologies Theme. I hold a BSc (with Honours) in Economics and Finance from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York. I joined the University of Oxford in 2023.

Prior to this, I worked in a consulting company, supporting intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) such as the WHO and the UNDP on projects related to infectious diseases, air pollution, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in LMICs.

My current work focuses on economic evaluations of health technologies, particularly imaging technologies and changes in care pathways within the NHS. I have experience in building decision tree models, Markov models, and conducting regression analyses.

My research interests include women's health, mental health, health inequalities, ageing societies, and the application of AI in healthcare.
