Murong Yang is a researcher in Health Economics, with a particular interest in health inequalities. Her current work focuses on applying econometric and epidemiological methods to investigate and explain disparities in infection incidence, treatment, and outcomes.
Murong originally joined the University of Oxford in 2019 as a DPhil student in Population Health. Her doctoral research examined income-related inequalities in child mental health from early childhood to adolescence in the UK. She holds an MSc in Industrial Economics from Shandong University and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York.
