Professor Monica Fletcher OBE is a nurse, researcher and healthcare leader whose work focuses on translating research into policy, regulation and healthcare practice.
She is Chief Executive of the Centre for Applied Respiratory Research, Innovation and Implementation (CARRii) and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences. Her work focuses on respiratory health, multiple long-term conditions and primary care, with a particular interest in helping evidence shape services and improve patient care.
Alongside her Oxford role, Monica provides senior leadership across the NHS and advises governments, global organisations and research partnerships on health policy and system transformation. She was appointed OBE for services to nursing.
