Research Showcase: Advancing Women's Health

Please join us for this research showcase focused on advancing women's health on the 20th of November, 2024. The showcase will explore women's health perspectives across broad areas of healthcare from which they have historically been under-represented or overlooked and aims to enhance interaction and collaboration between groups working on aspects of women’s health throughout the Department and wider University.

The event will include talks from a few key speakers from other departments within the University and a series of short “lightning” talks of 5 minutes from groups or individuals within the Department. We are hoping that as many research groups as possible will be represented and are aiming to include a mixture of seniors, EMCRs, and DPhils to chair, present, and discuss the ideas.

The Women’s Health Showcase will start at 9:30 and run until 14:00, including networking sessions and ending with lunch. We will be running a small PPI session after the event, please let us know if you or someone in your team would like to be involved with this.

The venue at Wolfson College will seat 50, so there is a limit on numbers, but we hope that it will accommodate those working in the area.
