His research includes drug and device regulation, health claims and epidemiology. He has advised the WHO and UK government on healthcare policies and is a Fellow of Kellogg College.
Prof Kamal Mahtani Kamal Mahtani is a Professor of Evidence-Based Healthcare at the University of Oxford and a practicing GP. He leads research on primary care innovations, including workforce roles and social prescribing. He directs multiple MSc programs and has secured significant research funding for healthcare studies.
HonsBSc MSc PhD Annette Plüddemann - Course Director: MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care Annette Plüddemann is a Senior Research Fellow at Oxford and Course Director for the MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care. Her work focuses on diagnostic technologies in primary care, evaluating their accuracy and impact. She has contributed to the Catalogue of Bias, examining factors that influence medical assessments and patient outcomes.
