Research Showcase for students and staff

Research Showcase afternoon 20 February at HB Allen Centre Glen Callater Lecture Theatre, Banbury Road

The research showcase 20 Feb is an afternoon (not a full day), with 100 delegates and has been put together as an additional opportunity (alongside the regular dept seminars) to focus on our research (the dept conference will not showcase everything we do) and to further promote inter team collaborations. It has SHORTER lightning talks and is targeted specifically at our researchers. The brief is for talks in three broad themes – “breaking news” for results of recent research, “seeking collaboration” for new projects looking for co-investigators and “dangerous ideas” for projects you’d like to do but which are either due to topic or methodology outside of the mainstream.

Professional Services Staff are very welcome to attend the Research Showcase.  The event starts at 12pm and ends with drinks and canapés from 5:30pm - 6:30pm
