We are interested in speaking to people who have experienced UTI symptoms in the past 12 months. You do not need to have visited your GP or another medical service about these symptoms to take part.
We are exploring what people think about advice to stop taking antibiotics for a UTI when they feel better, rather than finishing the full course, and how this advice can be made clear and useful.
We are looking for around 15 people to take part in either an online focus group (e.g. using Microsoft Teams) lasting 60-90 minutes, or an individual telephone interview, lasting 45-60 minutes. You must be aged 18 or over and fluent in English and have experienced UTI symptoms in the past 12 months.
Focus groups will include about 6 participants. It is your choice which format you would prefer.
The study is conducted by researchers at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford.
You will receive an online shopping voucher as a thank you for your participation.
