Research Databases: sources for routinely collected data from GP practices

The department hosts a number of national databases containing routinely collected data from GP practices, which can be used for research.

Whilst there are similarities between all four data sources, there are differences in coverage, mechanisms for data access, charging structures, governance approval and data linkages.
