Academic Enrichment Programme
Supporting the transition back into academia

Alongside the modules part of the MSc in Global Healthcare Leadership, students engage with the Academic Enrichment Programme, a structured series designed to support experienced healthcare leaders in re-entering and sustaining rigorous academic scholarship.
While the programme attracts senior professionals with substantial leadership experience, returning to formal study within a multidisciplinary Master’s environment requires deliberate recalibration. The Academic Enrichment Programme provides structured space to strengthen scholarly practice, consolidate core academic skills, and maintain intellectual momentum across the degree.
Led by senior academic, Dr Davide Bilardi, the sessions run in parallel with the core curriculum. From Module 2 onwards, they are held for 2 hours every Monday during the Oxford Intensive Week.
The Academic Enrichment Programme is formally optional but forms an integral part of the MSc learning ecosystem, supporting sustained academic rigour, confidence, and progression throughout the degree.
