Background

Relevant experiences are as follows:

Areas of interest

My areas of interest are medical education, including strengthening awareness of the breadth of primary care as well as improving EDI/patient representation within the curriculum. I am also interested in supporting students' sense of belonging.

My research interests are related to the areas above, as well as evaluation of innovative teaching approaches in primary care education and generalism. My research projects have been recognised through ASME Education Innovation awards/Small grant awards.

I am also working to set up an "early career" group within the medical education research special interest group (SIG) of the Society of Academic Primary Care (SAPC).

Sharing ideas or raising concerns

Please do get in touch if you wish to discuss ways to work together, or if you are GP tutor or student who would like to discuss anything.

For any students who are interested in getting involved in medical education, I am setting up a working group to look at the LwP course content and plans for the development of Learning with Patients Year 3 when it becomes compulsory. If you are interested in working on this, please do send an email.
